Advanced Medical Care

After deciding to use your advanced medical supplies, you spent significant time at the crash site providing Captain Chan with comprehensive care.  The decision to delay your movement was made with her long-term welfare in mind, despite the increased operational risks.

Based on the designated Extraction Point locations, you decide to move towards CHIPWI to the hills overlooking the Village of CHILOI. Your decision was strategic.  From this vantage point, you’ll maintain good observation over the area and the flexibility to choose either primary or alternate Extraction Point, depending on how the situation evolves.

As you ventured away from the crash site, enveloped by the dense jungle’s silence, complications began to surface.  The echo of distant, man-made noises hinted at potential pursuit, intensifying the pressure on your team. The thorough treatment initially helped stabilize Captain Chan, but the delayed departure and potential pursuit meant moving less stealthily, increasing the risk of detection and injury from the uneven terrain.

Upon reaching the hills overlooking CHILOI, it was evident the journey had taken its toll.  The extended time at the crash site and the subsequent slow pace meant Captain Chan was relatively stable but significantly fatigued from the ordeal. The team had managed to avoid any major exacerbation of her injuries, but the delay has seemed to increase the operational risks. Upon arrival, you grabbed your radio to update your status to callsign GUARDIAN flying above.
