Counter-Ambush

In a bold and calculated move, the team chose to engage the enemy head-on, initiating a counter-ambush that unfolded over a tense half-hour. With the foresight to have selected extra weapons and ammunition at an earlier juncture, they leveraged their firepower to overcome the ambushers, clearing their path with precision and determination. 

However, this victory was not without its costs. The clash echoed through the surrounding area, signaling their position to any enemy forces within earshot.  In the fray, Captain Chan remained a figure of stoic resilience, untouched physically but bearing the weight of the conflict’s stress. The team members weren’t as fortunate, sustaining minor wounds in the exchange, their ammunition supplies severely depleted. 

Now, with their operational security blown wide open, the team find themselves in a race against time, pressing towards the Extraction Point with heightened urgency, aware that their aggressive stance has likely signaled their presence to other hostile elements lurking in the shadows…
