Rapid Stabilization with Oral Pain Management

The team quickly administered oral pain relievers to Captain Chan, opting for a strategy that emphasized speed over thorough treatment, under the shadow of potential pursuit.

Based on the designated Extraction Point locations, you decide to move towards CHIPWI to the hills overlooking the Village of CHILOI.  Your decision was strategic.  From this vantage point, you’ll maintain good observation over the area and the flexibility to choose either the primary or alternate Extraction Point, depending on how the situation evolves.

As you ventured away from the crash site, enveloped by the dense jungle’s silence, complications began to surface.  Moving quickly, the team encountered fewer physical obstacles than anticipated but faced the challenge of managing Captain Chan’s growing discomfort.  The rapid pace jostled her injuries, necessitating frequent stops to adjust her position and ensure her pain was under control, which slightly offset the speed advantage you had planned for.

Upon reaching the hills overlooking CHILOI, it was evident the journey had taken its toll.  While Captain Chan’s condition did not visibly deteriorate, it did not improve either.  The quick pace and minimal initial treatment left her in considerable discomfort.  Despite the pain management, she was visibly exhausted from the demands of the rapid evacuation strategy.  Upon arrival, you grabbed your radio to update Callsign GUARDIAN flying above.
